I had seen carcasses of whales and dolphins

Penguins , sharks and even a crocodile once

Meet unempathetic glances across the shore

What the waves brought in today beat 'em all

It was a lifeless and doll-like corpse of a child

An inheritor of a family of " Refugees " on run

Trying to escape clutches of inhuman camps

Were they any less human dare ask my soul?

Weren't they martyrs to seek a dignified life !?

What the waves brought in today beat 'em all

It haunts my nights and days - a sceptre now

On my head hangs crown of diseased thorns

What we threw into the sea it regurgitates too

Innocence of childhood bleeds a way through

Hopping and tossing on the waves are ghosts

Teasing and defying the laws that chased 'em

Laid to rest and peace finally Nature rescues:

Don't worry they don't need anything no more

When life disappoints you, And the going gets tough, When the downpour begins, And you feel that you have had enough…

When emotions get you tangled, With every passing phase, When friends slam the door and stare, Right on your face…

When the world you believe in, Crumbles upon your soul, And the paradise you cherished, Falls short of your goals…

Remember……………….. Someone is up there, You can forever count on, Who will kiss away your pain, And be with you all the way long…

So get up…………. Keep going on, Till you achieve the goal…!!

Lately you will realize that this world was consuming you .

Like every part of yours ,

was meant to submerge into the grounds,

That belonged to the roots.

All your parts Will disappear.

In a fraction of a second ,

you will feel like loosing yourself.

And then ,

you will wake up from that dream,

realizing it was created by your soul.

By the cluttering thoughts that always had you.

You will sit ,

Sip a coffee ,

brush your hair and look at the smudged kohl .

Cry till your last breath,

And breathe as much you can.

But darling,

The door won't open

& you ?

You won't be able to fly.
